The Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona hosted in 2006 an exhibition dedicated to the Italian painter and poet Lorenzo Viani. For that occasion, Marco Mencoboni was commissioned to carry out research aimed at creating a soundtrack that could accompany visitors to the exhibition with music from the same period. This work contains pieces of specially recorded compositions under the artistic direction of Marco Mencoboni including pieces by his friend Giacomo Puccini.
